Dr. Steven Quinn graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and went on to complete his internal medicine residency at George Washington University in DC. He completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at Rush University Medical Center. He has staff privileges at Advocate Christ Medical Center and Palos Community Hospital.
He manages all types of pulmonary diseases, from chronic diseases like asthma and COPD to abnormal CT scans. He has a special interest in rare lung diseases including eosinophilic lung disease, difficult-to-treat asthma, and difficult-to-treat COPD. He also specializes in advanced pulmonary procedures, including regular bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage and brushings, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) for enlarged lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy), navigational bronchoscopy and transbronchial biopsy (for lung nodules), cryo-biopsy (for interstitial lung disease), and PleurX placement (for pleural effusions).
